Common questions

Is this really accurate enough to trust?

Quote parsing reads incoming subcontractor PDFs and CSVs and maps every line back to your ROD — you review the mapping before anything is used in a bid. Nothing reaches a bid package without an estimator's sign-off. We're piloting now and publishing real accuracy numbers from production quote sets in the next release.

Does it replace estimators?

No — and we're deliberate about that. AI takes on the repetitive parts — parsing quotes, building bid lists — so you don't have to. You review, you confirm, you sign off. The judgment stays with you. That's also what your clients and PMs need: a human accountable for the scope.

How does pricing work?

We offer Starter, Team, and Enterprise plans — flat monthly billing for your whole estimating team, no per-seat fees. We're onboarding pilot teams now — request access or contact [email protected] for a quote.

Can estimators correct the AI's quote mapping when it's wrong?

Yes — inline. When AI maps a sub's quote line to the wrong CSI division, an estimator can correct it directly in the quote view and the line updates on the spot. Every correction is captured in an immutable audit log that's attached to the sign-off package.

How does the subcontractor database work?

Import your existing sub list via CSV. Parapet organizes contacts by CSI trade section. Generate a unique quote link per sub and share it directly — no email blast required.

Is our project data secure?

Project files and scope data are isolated per organization with row-level security — no other customer can access your data. PDFs are stored in encrypted cloud storage with signed access URLs. We don't use your project data to train AI models.
