Mission driven

Built by people who've sat in the estimator's chair.

Construction estimation is one of the most skilled, most under-tooled jobs in the built environment. Estimators spend 12–16 hours reading every set of drawings — twice, sometimes three times — just to capture scope. Then they do it again on the next project.

Parapet exists to give that time back. Not to replace estimators — to free them from the parts that don't require judgment so they can focus on the parts that do: knowing your subs, reading risk, and winning the right bids.

What Parapet actually does

AI reads your architectural drawings and generates a first-pass scope of work, organized by CSI section. You review it in a split-screen interface — confirm what's right, correct what's wrong, and sign off.

Our approach

Intelligence, not automation

We don't replace the estimator. AI does the first read-through so the judgment stays with the professional who signs off.

Human-in-the-loop by default

Every AI-extracted item is structured for rapid review. Confirm what's right, correct what's off, document every sign-off.

Built for retail TI specifically

We serve retail tenant improvement GCs — not everyone. That focus means better AI prompts, better defaults, less configuration noise.

How we build

Estimators stay in control

AI does the read-through. You do the review. Nothing gets submitted without your sign-off. The accountability stays with the professional — where it belongs.

Honest about AI's limits

Every item carries a confidence score — high, medium, or low — and links back to its source drawing page. The review UI puts the medium and low items in front of you so you can decide how much to scrutinize. No false promises.

One workflow, done well

General construction tools try to serve everyone. We focus on the estimator's workflow end-to-end — from drawing ingest to bid assembly — and do that job exceptionally well.
